Die Delphin Apotheke wurde 1999 eröffnet. Sie befindet sich auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Peter-Jörres-Gymnasiums. Seit 2003 wird sie von Herrn Apotheker Markus Bongartz geleitet.
Herr Markus Bongartz ist Apotheker in dritter Generation. Er ist Fachapotheker für Klinische Pharmazie. Das Team umfasst neben dem Chef heute fünf Apothekerinnen, fünf PTA's, zwei PKA's, eine PKA Auszubildende und vier weitere MitarbeiterInnen.
Die Sonnen-Apotheke in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler war seit 2012 eine Filiale der Delphin-Apotheke. Sie wurde von Frau Apothekerin Jutta Bongartz (Schwester von Herrn Markus Bongartz) geleitet. Die verheerende Flut vom 14/15.Juli 2021 hat die Sonnen-Apotheke vollkommen zerstört. Wir haben uns dazu entschlossen, die Sonnen-Apotheke nicht wieder zu eröffnen.
Die Delphin-Apotheke wurde 2018 erweitert und umgebaut.
